Early Years Tutor

Kathleen holds a BAHons in German and Spanish from Newcastle University. As part of her degree she spent time studying at University in both Spain and Germany. She later went on to study for her teaching qualification with a French Specialism and so has significant experience in supporting children with language learning.Kathleen spent two summers working in the French Alps, teaching English as a foreign language to French children. She is from Edinburgh and has spent the past 8 years teaching in a school where she specialised in Early Years and KS1. She has had specific training in various phonics programmes and specialises in play based learning and the teaching of phonics and maths using a practical approach.
