Bethany McMillan
Head of Primary School
Ms. Macmillan was awarded a BSc in Psychology where she chose to focus her research on child development and cognition. Due to her enjoyment of working with children during her research, she went on to complete her PGCE in Sheffield, England, where she studied Primary teaching and school Leadership, qualifying with “Outstanding”.
Since qualifying, Ms. Macmillan has had the pleasure of teaching all Year groups in Primary and so has a strong overview of the British Curriculum at each stage. She has taught within UK mainstream and Special Educational Needs Schools and at the International School of Como in Italy.
Ms. Macmillan is currently studying part time for a Masters Degree in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities with the University of Birmingham where she is focussing her research on supporting the needs of all individual children within the classroom.
